Bonneville Power Administration Annual Power Outage

Celebrate what may be the last BPA/Ferry County PUD annual power outage to rebuild the Kettle Falls-to-Republic transmission line. Sunday, July 16 from 12 noon - 8pm. Free burgers, hot dogs and entertainment will help the time go by faster as we wait for power to be returned. Location TBA for the freebies provided by the BPA.

The 73rd annual Ferry County Fair opens on Friday, September 2nd. Come and ride the 100+ year old fully-restored carousel! Explore local art, crafts, photography, canning, dog shows, livestock exhibitions, and horse shows.

Ferry County PUD - Planned Power Outage
Planned power outage begins at 12 noon through 8pm. Enjoy a free picnic at the Ferry County Fairgrounds, sponsored by BPA and the PUD. Free hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks between noon and 3pm. Fun events for kids and educational information for adults.
Wauconda Sock Hop and Car Show
Judging for the car show occurs from 1 pm - 4 pm. The sock hop will be from 6 pm - 11 pm. All participants are invited to come as you are or to dress in 50's attire. Refreshments will be available, as well as drawings, door prizes, contests, and games. Proceeds support the Wauconda Hall Association. The festivities will be happening at 129 Toroda Creek Rd. off State Hwy 20.

Barrel Derby Days is held on the first Sunday in June, in Curlew, WA.
Stonerose Interpretive Center Annual Membership Dig Day
Members will be getting “first crack” at our Boot Hill site in Republic! This annual event is one of the benefits of membership, and marks the beginning of the fossil hunting season. The hill will open to the general public on May 4. If you aren’t a member, JOIN NOW and attend this special season opener!
3rd Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival
The 3rd Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival will be shown at the Ferry County Fairgrounds Carousel Building, Friday, March 18, from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. Door opens at 5:30 PM. Over a dozen short films will be shown and will be suitable for all ages. Tickets are $8 advance, $10 a the door. Student tickets are $4. Purchase tickets at Ferry County Coop or by sending a check to KRCG, PO Box 150, Republic, WA 99166.
